Certainly smelled good when I opened the bag, and better when I ground some and prepared it. The first pot, made in my Chemex, was superior- made me feel it was worth the not quite $40 price tag. Interestingly, that first pot was the best. Subsequent brewings for whatever reason were unable to “live up” to the initial taste, regardless of method used. Chemex, Melitta, Keurig single pod, old-school stovetop percolator- nothing was able to reproduce that first/best cup. Because of this, I am unsure if I will reorder. It’s very good coffee, just not sure if it’s twice as good as every other coffee.
